OH IT WAS A COOL ANIMATION ABOUT THE SAME guy. local adorably round-headed scientist dr. dinkus (aka sophie “sophia” tintori) made this super animation about the elusive fried-egg jelly to help teach clowns like us how to KNOW THINGS. it is a SICK, totally adorable and informative animation complete with the music styling of another local guy, not a scientist (but also round-headed), terrifying pop behemoth amil byleckie. thanks guys for making this thing that i enjoyed! sorry this post was so “wordy”.

someone took a tiny chainsaw to my head, made my cous cous brains for later. i’ve got homemade pad thai and it looks better than my face. i don’t know, i was mutilated. it was o.k. though, because only really metaphorically. i was a rockin scarecrow. or whatever.
more importantly, this halloween is sort of like christmas because i woke up this morning for the 3rd time (at 5pm) to discover that ryan’s charming, charming zine ELECTRIC ANT #1 had arrived from the printers and was available for purchase on the online! It’s $8+S&H, you can buy it here, or at APE this weekend, and read more about it/see sample pages here.
i totally have a drawing in the zine (see photo), and i’m wicked excited about it! i’m also really excited about photocopying and filling out the NIN themed mad libs over and over and over again.

umm so my roommate was like “i wanna install wordpress on my website so i can update it easier” and then i was like “I want to install wordpress on MY website so i can update easier!!!!!!!” so i’ve spent the past day or so trying to set it all up, and i think so far it’s looking pretty ok. except i still need to change the header image. and somehow add a second sidebar packed with thumbnails. WHATEVS, in the meantime, here’s a drawing i did for the esteemed liz greenfield of the webcomic formerly known as stuff sucks.

so look at this! a website where you can upload the crappy pictures you took from your cell phone. it’s called snapmylife.com, which is totally appropriate. anyway, i wasted like 2 hours yesterday wandering around taking dumb cell phone photos and uploading them. it was pretty ok!
