hi! this weekend me and james mcshane will be at mocca at a table!

. come visit us! jacob was supposed to come but his studio flooded and everything he ever made has been destroyed. send him money!
anyway we’ll probably have lots of cool stuff or whatever, and james says he has a cloth with dots on it to put over our half of the table so everything looks classy. after the show i’ll probably get drunk and do something regrettable. it’ll be a great time!!

ALSO this weekend, but in FLORIDA is the opening reception for this show i’m in with a bunch of other people i know. here’s the info:

in a thing in philly march 25th and march 25th only. its a thursday. 6-9pm at “Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction”, 116 North Third Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

oh HEY craftland opens december 5th! @ 235 westminster street providence ri 02903. i imagine there will be some semblance of opening party, mayhaps from 5-9, on that very day. ANYWAY i didn’t finish the new bf&gj in time because i have been an ultra slacker lately BUT I DID make these ridiculous hello cards with wonky eyeball envelope sets (but i forgot to photograph the wonky eyeball envelopes) that you can buy if you wanna (from craftland).

ok, so, well, this bad boy is like 40×60 or some ridiculous number of inches along those lines. maybe its 40×36, i don’t know, i measured it one time and then i forgot. needless to say, its the biggest print i’ve ever made. and i’m slightly embarrassed by how huge it is, to be honest, sort of.
its also like a million layers. straight up, a million. swear to god.
anyway, it’s up for the sustainability show this weekend, which opens this sunday, november 2nd, 4-7pm, as220 main gallery, 115 empire st, providence ri and is made up of a bunch of awesome prints on the topic of sustainability by the justseeds collective as well as like, 30+ rhode island artists. on top of being a totally awesome print show, most of the work is for sale at totally affordable prices! so get ON it! and byo dinner.

aaa, almost forgot. tonight, september 7th, 4pm-7pm is the first bi-annual as220 community print shop print lottery! @ as220, 115 empire st. providence, ri 02903.
come hang out for free and eat snacks and drink booze and chat with friends/strangers, ALSO look at the 200 or so prints by around 200 artists on the walls! you can buy a lotto ticket for $75 to support the print shop if you wanna, but you don’t have to, BUT IF YOU DO on sept 27th you’ll win a print thru ‘blind lottery’ system! its kind of like a raffle. kind of. see you tonight.

ok so hera gallery comix show is tonight! the festivities start at noon, but the ‘opening’ is 6-8pm. the gallery is at 327 Main Street in Wakefield, RI and you can take the bus there (#66 i think) AND the bus is free today! meanwhile the above picture is of a that print while i was making it, and a big squeegee.

so if you live in the providence, ri area you can buy bullshit frank & gorilla joe ‘first collection’ at armageddeon shop (436 broadway) for $3! i dropped some off today. they’ll also be for sale in wakefield, ri when the hera gallery comix show goes up (the opening is saturday, 6-8pm). and of course, you can still order them thru paypal from me.

oops! tonight was the opening for 5 traverse gallery’s ‘open source’, curator-free print show. the premise was anyone could come and pin up their print works/posters/whatevs, while others could come and buy them fresh off the wall. anyway! it’s up for a month, i THINK, or at least a couple weeks so go see it, buy something, or post up your own print (you can still do that!). i put up a couple things myself.
anyway, 5 traverse gallery is located at 5 traverse st (duh), between sheldon and wickenden, sort of across the st from utrecht, in providence, ri. go see!!!!!!
MEANWHILE, here’s two pictures of my new workspace since i moved house (my table is a door! SUCK IT!!!). <3
