ok, so, well, this bad boy is like 40×60 or some ridiculous number of inches along those lines. maybe its 40×36, i don’t know, i measured it one time and then i forgot. needless to say, its the biggest print i’ve ever made. and i’m slightly embarrassed by how huge it is, to be honest, sort of.
its also like a million layers. straight up, a million. swear to god.
anyway, it’s up for the sustainability show this weekend, which opens this sunday, november 2nd, 4-7pm, as220 main gallery, 115 empire st, providence ri and is made up of a bunch of awesome prints on the topic of sustainability by the justseeds collective as well as like, 30+ rhode island artists. on top of being a totally awesome print show, most of the work is for sale at totally affordable prices! so get ON it! and byo dinner.

aaa, almost forgot. tonight, september 7th, 4pm-7pm is the first bi-annual as220 community print shop print lottery! @ as220, 115 empire st. providence, ri 02903.
come hang out for free and eat snacks and drink booze and chat with friends/strangers, ALSO look at the 200 or so prints by around 200 artists on the walls! you can buy a lotto ticket for $75 to support the print shop if you wanna, but you don’t have to, BUT IF YOU DO on sept 27th you’ll win a print thru ‘blind lottery’ system! its kind of like a raffle. kind of. see you tonight.

oops! tonight was the opening for 5 traverse gallery’s ‘open source’, curator-free print show. the premise was anyone could come and pin up their print works/posters/whatevs, while others could come and buy them fresh off the wall. anyway! it’s up for a month, i THINK, or at least a couple weeks so go see it, buy something, or post up your own print (you can still do that!). i put up a couple things myself.
anyway, 5 traverse gallery is located at 5 traverse st (duh), between sheldon and wickenden, sort of across the st from utrecht, in providence, ri. go see!!!!!!
MEANWHILE, here’s two pictures of my new workspace since i moved house (my table is a door! SUCK IT!!!). <3

i made an “art print”! i did this like a month ago but never brought it home to photograph. i sold like 2 at the sale today (cool). i also got an ‘arm tan’.

weird, i got mentioned again by strangers!! or rather, team printmake got mentioned (for the first time) by strangers. chloe pointed this one out to me.
right, so, meet your printmaker seems like a pretty cool concept, their goal “…is to become a directory and resource for artists and designers looking to work or collaborate with unique printers and printmakers”. loves it.

these are kind of old (“old” being used loosely), i did them like a month or so ago? maybe 2 months. anyway i kept leaving them at the p-shop! so i couldn’t scan. people seem to like the tiger one but i hate it. so i’m going to make a super brutal tiger print sometime in the future (purely out of spite).

ok so the dirt palace made a ‘zine’ that they gave out @ ps1. the covers were 3-layer silkscreen + 2 or 3 layer letterpress prints that morgan designed&printed and look like this:

the interior was printed on a riso graph (same ppl who make print gocco), which is kind of like a magic color photocopier from heaven, by my understanding.
and ok, so, this is the comic i made for the zine (i was very excited to make a comic for the zine). xander picked the ink & paper color which is probably why it looks so bizarrely good for a 1 color comic (after the br8k):
